1. Privacy at a glance

Protecting your data matters to us, and imagenimble is built to be data-minimal. The image tools — converters, the compressor and cropper, editors and the QR/barcode generators — process the files you choose entirely in your browser. Your images and documents are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. Personal data is only processed when the website is called up technically (server logs) and — after your consent — by the statistics and marketing services described below. One narrow exception is the optional “load image from URL” feature, explained in section 6.

3. Local image processing

Every converter, compressor, editor and generator on imagenimble runs as JavaScript in your browser. The files you choose stay on your device; nothing is transmitted to us or any third party. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet after a tool page has loaded — the tools keep working.

4. Hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare)

This website is hosted with a hosting provider in Germany. We additionally use Cloudflare Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as a content delivery network and security service. Cloudflare processes connection data (including your IP address) as a processor on our behalf to deliver the site quickly and protect it from attacks (e.g. DDoS). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequate level of protection under Art. 45 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and performance). 5. Server log files

When you visit the site, our provider automatically records standard access data in server log files (browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the request and IP address). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable, secure operation). Storage period: 7 days. These logs are not merged with other data sources.

6. Loading an image from a URL

Some tools (for example the collage maker) let you load an image by entering its web address instead of choosing a local file. When you use this optional feature, the URL you enter is sent to our server, which fetches that resource on your behalf and returns it to your browser — this is technically necessary because browsers cannot fetch images from other websites directly. In the process the target website receives a request from our server, and the URL plus the connection data needed to perform the fetch (including your IP address) are processed transiently. We do not store the fetched files or the URLs, and we do not use them for any other purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performing the function you requested) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the tool). If you prefer not to use this, simply upload the file from your device — local processing then applies as described in section 3.

7. Cookies and consent

We set only technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your consent decision and your theme/language preference) without consent — legal basis § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG together with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Statistics and advertising services (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager) are loaded only after you give consent via our consent banner — legal basis § 25 (1) TDDDG together with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Our consent tool blocks unknown third-party scripts and tracking pixels by default until you allow the respective service. You can review and withdraw your choices at any time: Open consent settings.

8. Third-party services (overview)

The following services may be used on imagenimble.com — in each case only after your consent in the consent banner:

The services currently active, with all details (provider address, purposes, cookies with storage periods, data recipients, third-country transfers), are listed in the consent banner under “Settings → Services”. imagenimble is ad-funded; with your consent, advertising partners may set cookies and process data (including an advertising identifier) to show and measure ads.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and to withdraw a given consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

12. Changes to this privacy notice

We may update this privacy notice so that it always complies with current legal requirements. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
